Self Proclaimed Marketing Gurus, Books and Tapes

In the Chiropractic profession there are many “snake oil” sales men mixed in with the reputable companies. Some call themselves Gurus, some are Coaches, others are Consultants or some other term.

What does it all mean?

It means do your due diligence. Find the system that fits YOUR needs. The categories would be:

1.  Free or Do It Yourself – By Yourself.  I would say 1-3% of people can make it this way.

2.  Pay very little and get very little. Barely more than #1. You will get a few tools or suggestions and then you are on your own. Again a small percentage will be successful.

With these first two most people are willing to spend a little money to a few hundred dollars one time to get these.  That’s only because if you do one of these on Monday by Friday you have forgotten you spent the money and it is no big deal that the Books and Tapes are on the shelf until you decide to throw them away.

3.  Spend (or as I prefer to say invest) some money on a REAL system that really works that you don’t have to do much of anything on. Many more people can be successful with this as long as you pick a good company to out source to.

So there you go.  Those are your options.  Whether they call themselves a Coach, Guru, Consultant or something else. Whether you are buying Books, Tapes, Lotions, Potions, Ideas or a Service.

Ask a few questions…do they practice what they preach?

Do they have better statistics in this area than you?

There are many great products out there. K now which one you are buying and what you will have once the sales pitch is over.

May you always achieve the results you desire.

Remember it is not the winds that move the ship but the captain.
