Follow Up to my last post on FTC regulations.

Ok.  So I got a lot of response to the last email.

Everyone has their own opinions and I understand that.

We are taking the conservative route on this.

You are of course the ones to decide which route you take.

Here is the link to my original blog post:

You can copy and paste it into your browser to review that if you missed it.

The question I get the most is:

SO WE CAN NO LONGER HAVE TESTIMONIALS?

The Answer is:

YES YOU CAN…  BUT you must have FTC compliant disclaimers to protect yourself.

The next most asked question has been:

Can you provide me the disclaimer:

The answer is:

NO… We are not a law firm.

So I decided to to provide 3 choices if you are short on lawyers in your area:

1.  Dustin Sichon (not the cheapest but very thorough)

WATERMAN & SICHON LLP

910 W. 17th Street, Suite B

Santa Ana, CA 92706

Office: (714) 543-2200

2.  William S. Galkin, Esq.  ($75 flat rate, I believe)

Tel + 1 410 484 2500

wgalkin@galkinlaw.com

www.galkinlaw.com

3.  BizShield (a legal disclaimer in a box deal)

MY DISCLAIMER:

I AM IN NO WAY ENDORSING, TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR WORK OR BEING COMPENSATED IN ANYWAY FOR REFERRING BUSINESS TO THEM.  AS WITH ANY LEGAL MATTER IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHOOSE COMPETENT LEGAL COUNSEL.

December 1st is right around the corner.  Get your site up to date and in compliance with the new FTC regulations.

Happy Holidays!
