A few weeks ago when the you know what hit the fan after google changed their algorithm again… 9 out of 10 Local Business that had reviews that I interviewed seem to have “LOST” a bunch of them.
The question was why and more importantly will I get them back?
Well the answer has surfaced.
Google bought HotSpot and integrated the two well sort of.
In order for a persons reviews to show they have to set their google.com/hotpot profile to “PUBLIC”
So all is not lost. You just have to get those loyal customers that had given you reviews to make their profile “PUBLIC” and BANG! You should have your reviews back.
I suggest emailing your patient/customer base right away and telling them about this change and asking them to make their profile public and leave you a review.
Then you should get some old ones back and some new ones too!
